Cheering for a K-State Win

The Kansas State Wildcats travel to Lubbock, TX today to play against the Texas Tech Red Raiders.  The Cats are ranked #17 in the polls and could become bowl eligible with a win today.

My last post about the football team was several weeks ago when we amazingly pulled out a win at Miami University.  Since then, we’ve survived Baylor and then also beat Missouri, both at home.  With the Baylor win, we cracked into the top 25 with a #20 ranking.  The Missouri win rose us up to #17.

With a win today and an anticipated win next week against KU, we could find ourselves with a perfect record back home on October 29th against an unbeaten Oklahoma.  This game could have huge implications for the conference and for bowl selection.

Well, not to get to far ahead of myself – let’s just root for a victory today at Texas Tech.

Choir Concert for Anna

Last week was a busy week for Anna because she had a choir concert one night and then an orchestra concert the next night.

Today, we’ll take a listen to the choir concert.
